Biography

Vanessa L. Johnson, Esq., MBA is an attorney and professor with over 20 years of experience in human resources, learning and development, and law. Her diverse employment history includes work with non-profits, start-ups, private organizations, and publicly traded corporations in a variety of industries (technology, energy, legal, consumer products, aerospace/defense). Her human resources certifications include SHRM-SCP, PHRca, GPHR, SPHR, and CMS, and she earned degrees from Tulane (BSM), NYU – Stern (MBA), and the University of Houston Law Center (JD, LLM-Tax Law, LLM-Health Law).
