Biography

Jared Crane joined the Astros as Executive Advisor to the Business Operations team in November 2019. In this role, he assists in a wide variety of functions related to the operations of the Astros business. Jared also serves as President of the Astros Foundation, the official 501(c)(3) team charity of the Houston Astros.

Jared is the Vice President of Global Sales at Crane Worldwide Logistics, serving as a board member, individual sales contributor and, as the organization’s global sales strategist, leads the development and management of all major global accounts. In 2013, Jared founded Incite Energy and served as President and CEO from 2013 – 2018. Headquartered in Houston, Incite Energy is an energy brokerage and software service company serving commercial and industrial users of electricity and natural gas throughout the U.S. In September 2018, Jared successfully sold assets of Incite Energy in order to shift his full-time focus to Crane Worldwide Logistics.  Prior to Incite Energy, Jared worked as an Energy Orientation Manager at Champion Energy Services, facilitating commercial and industrial electricity agreements. Jared’s professional experience includes financial analysis, business development, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, contract negotiations and developing client relationships. Jared earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University but considers himself a native Texan and Coloradan after growing up in both Houston and Boulder. Jared currently resides in Houston with his wife Adrienne, and in his free time he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
