S.DOTT was born in Lawtell, Louisiana. He was first exposed to Zydeco music through his brother Jody White and his uncles Lee and Ricky Richard, who are all associated with the illustrious Hotline Brand. He claims the title of first solo Zydeco artist of the new age sound because of his immense talent as a producer, songwriter and artist. He is a true cultural phenomenon when it comes to creativity in a music space that keeps evolving and trending daily. He likes to call it New Wave Zydeco.
