Gather the entire family and join us for this year’s Juneteenth Family Fun Day taking place on June 19th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  This family focused event will include:

  • Food Trucks (12:00 pm – 4:00pm)

  • Music, Giveaways & Juneteenth Art Installations

  • Performances by Emancipation Senior Line Dancers

  • The Sheila Jackson Lee Exhibition “A Legacy of Leadership & Service” (Cultural Center) 12pm – 7pm

  • Movie Screening: Juneteenth Faith & Freedom (Cultural Center) 4pm – 6pm

  • “The Project” a spoken word & musical tribute to Rev. Jack Yates presented by L.A.V.A. (12:00 pm)

  • The pool will be open (Mon – Closed | Tue – Sat 1pm – 7pm | Sun 1pm – 6pm)

  • Splash Pads will be activated
