Houston Methodist Prostate Cancer Screening

Did you know one in six Black men will develop prostate cancer in his lifetime? That is why getting screened is so important for our community. Houston Methodist is partnering with 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston, African American Male Wellness Agency, CoolxDad, Emancipation Park Conservancy, Fountain of Praise and Project Row Houses to empower Black men to take action!

We are offering free prostate cancer screenings on Sat. – Sep. 30 – 9 am to 1 pm at Emancipation Park Conservancy, 3018 Emancipation Ave., Houston, TX 77004. On site, you will receive a PSA test, which is a blood test primarily used to screen for prostate cancer and enjoy a community health fair. Visit bit.ly/3P81FlM to register and learn more.
