Biography
Marc Newsome is the Director of Marketing and Branding for Emancipation Park Conservancy. He is responsible for public outreach regarding promoting the Conservancy’s activities, programs, and events to the community as well as upholding the Conservancy’s graphic standards. He offers over 20 years of experience in promotions and has a robust history of creating public art highlighting the history and cultural assets of the Third Ward area.
A graduate of Texas Southern University, Newsome is currently a visiting lecturer at Rice University and is pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Houston.
