The Emancipation Park Conservancy Inaugural Black Business Summit is a week-long opportunity for Black entrepreneurs to learn, network, and advance their businesses to better serve the community and stimulate the local economy. The Black Business Summit brings together an assortment of stakeholders representing various cross sections of the entrepreneur, nonprofit, and corporate community to provide those least likely to be resourced through traditional grant-making or procurement processes with the resources (both financial and non-financial) necessary to grow their businesses and compete in the free market.

The Summit will include workshops and networking opportunities, culminating in a micro-grant competition. Workshop topics will cover such focus areas as Elevating Your Business Plan, Integrating Digital Marketing Strategies, and Leveraging Existing resources.
