RECAP: The Emancipation Park Conservancy held its first annual Back to School Fair for teachers on August 2, 2024! Educators from the community gathered to network, win prizes, engage in candid conversations, receive professional massages, and enjoy light refreshments. They also left with a bag of school supplies for their classrooms. On Saturday, August 3rd, with the support of our sponsors, community partners, and volunteers, we distributed 600 backpacks filled with school supplies and over 400 pairs of shoes to local students!
